Internet Broadcasting Promotes Paul Bremer to Executive Vice President of Sales

Internet Broadcasting, the nation’s largest national platform of TV station web sites, today announced the promotion of Paul Bremer to executive vice president of sales. The announcement was made by Peter Stilson, chief operating officer of Internet Broadcasting, which produces 74 TV station web sites for America’s premier broadcasters: NBC, Cox Broadcasting, Hearst-Argyle, The McGraw Hill Companies, Post-Newsweek, Scripps Howard, and Capitol Broadcasting Company.

In his new role, Bremer will lead national and strategic sales initiatives across the company's 74 TV station web sites. Additionally, Bremer will continue to oversee sales for NBC's WeatherPlus.com, which, along with NBCOlympics.com (two sites co-produced by Internet Broadcasting), were his prime responsibilities during his previous two years with the company.

With NBCOlympics.com, Bremer established relationships with blue chip advertisers including Coca Cola, AT&T, and Samsung that led to record-breaking revenue and first-time profitability for the site.

“We are thrilled to have Paul leading our national sales effort as he brings a proven track record of success most recently witnessed in the profitability of NBCOlympics.com,” said Stilson. “Our national sales endeavors have been the fastest growing segment of our business. We look forward to having someone of Paul’s caliber continue to drive results.”

Based in Internet Broadcasting’s New York City office, Bremer will head the national sales team, which includes representatives in the company’s New York City, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and San Francisco offices.

Bremer is a 10-year veteran of online advertising sales. Before joining Internet Broadcasting, he worked in various advertising sales positions with WebMD, Lycos, and The Wall Street Journal. Bremer has a B.S. in History and Diplomacy from Georgetown University.

Internet Broadcasting’s national sales team offers advertisers a turnkey way to market their brands nationally or regionally on TV station web sites. Because the company creates site content -- with online editors in the newsrooms of its TV stations -- and designs and hosts these sites, Internet Broadcasting offers custom sponsorship opportunities, standard and rich-media ad buys, and the unique ability to sell advertising space both on-air and online for convergent TV/Web messaging.

Additional Appointments to the National Sales Staff Were Also Announced:

·    Margee Anderson joined the company as managing director of Midwest sales. Previously, Anderson was with E! Online as Midwest account manager. Anderson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s Chicago office and will manage relationships with premiere interactive agencies in the Midwest.

·    Terri Slater joined the company as senior account executive. Previously, she was with NYPost.com as a national account executive. Slater will work out of the company’s New York City office and will oversee relationships with premiere interactive agencies on the East Coast.
·    Beth Grossman, account executive, joined Internet Broadcasting’s New York City office after one year in the company’s Chicago office. Before joining the company, Beth worked for Fox Broadcasting, where she held various positions in national TV sales for over six years. Grossman will manage relationships with premier interactive agencies on the East Coast.
