Savvy Marketers Abandoning Giant DaVinci Code Budgets and Tactics

Most marketers would have avoided releasing their new book on the May 19th opening weekend of The DaVinci Code, but not Mark Joyner. Joyner is the author of the best selling book The Great Formula which released the very same weekend as the DaVinci Code. Rather than worry, Joyner used grassroots marketing tactics and the formula he describes in his book to rapidly knock The DaVinci Code out of the #1 spot on Amazon.com within hours. “Too many marketers focus on the amount of money they have to spend rather than focusing on the full complement of resources available to them and those resources are often very low or no cost opportunities to create massive consumer awareness and profit. Savvy marketers and salespeople know that grassroots organization combined with an effective influence strategy will move consumers faster and more profitably than a massive budget any day,” said Joyner.

Joyner is quick to point out that there is nothing wrong with spending an appropriate amount of money to sell your product or service. However, your strategy must reflect a very specific formula that engages consumers in a way that gets them to willingly cooperate in spreading your word. Joyner explains “The formula is deceptively simple yet it works for virtually any business that takes the time to implement it in their marketing efforts and takes advantage of the psychology of consumption. The formula is this: Create the irresistible offer, present it to a thirsty crowd, then sell them a second glass. Often marketers get the second part of the formula right but they fail miserably in the first and second portions. The DaVinci Code marketers got it partly right, but they missed a big portion of the formula and that is how I was able to slide in and knock them out of first place on the very day that they should have dominated Amazon.com with ease.”

In
The Great Formula, Joyner exposes how companies like Amazon.com, Gillette, Estee Lauder and many more household names launched their success using The Great Formula. The book also delivers four solid tactics that every company can and should use to generate more profits from the clients that they generate using The Great Formula.

The Great Formula offers time proven tactics and strategies that any company no matter their size or budget can implement to create maximum profit with minimal effort (The Irresistible Offer). It goes on to focus on those companies who realize that ineffective and unproven advertising costs no longer allow for the “we’ll give it a try and see what happens” mentality of advertising so prominent in ad agencies and in advertising salespeople (The Thirsty Crowd). And finally, Joyner uses a series of second glass tactics to give his thirsty audience more glasses of what they crave (Sell Them A Second Glass).

Joyner makes a very bold claim “Show me any business and no matter how bad, but especially how effective their marketing is today and I’ll show them how to create even more profit with less effort than they are expending today.”
