An American, Minority-Owned Business is Handpicked to Help Canadian Companies Win Iraqi Rebuild

Since 1975, Larry Hales Consultancy has been committed to developing strategies that help businesses across the nation win multi-billion dollar federal contracts. Our book The Federal Marketing Advisor is used in MBA programs at Harvard, Duke, Stanford, Northwestern and others.

Larry Hales Consultancy, a federal contract facilitator, will instruct more than 1,000 Canadian firms this March in winning a portion of Iraqi reconstruction contracts expected to total more than $20,000,000,000.

The Washington based company, with offices in New York, and Williamsburg, Virginia, was selected to conduct this one-day seminar following President George Bush's move to ease tensions with Canada.

A reversal in his decision to permit Canadian bids for Iraqi contracts means the country's qualified companies will need an intense crash course in American federal contract policy. Larry Hales Consultancy will provide just that, said Larry Hales, company president. "In less than four weeks, we will be instructing Canada's premier companies in winning U.S. federal contacts. In fact, we are already waist-deep in the project, having just finished our second White House briefing," Hales said.

The first executive briefing, conducted by Administrator for the Office of Management and Budget, David H. Safavian, and Associate Administrator, Robert Burton, update Larry Hales
Consultancy on Iraqi contract policies and the A-76 program.

A second briefing, also held in preparation for Hales' marketing seminar , took place five days later and was conducted by the Secretary of Commerce, Donald Evans. For more information about these briefings, please visit www.LarryHales.com

The seminar, open to small and large businesses alike, will focus on four objectives, Hales said.

1. How to attract U.S. federal government contracts.
2. How to gain the competitive advantage in winning federal contracts.
3. How to prepare and write winning proposals.
4. How to construct rapid, effective, and profitable marketing strategies.

Larry Hales' book, "The Federal Marketing Advisor," which will be made available to seminar participants, can also be purchased at

Since 1975, Larry Hales Consultancy strategies have helped small and large businesses across the nation win multi-billion dollar federal contracts.

Success stories include a $982,000,000 Air Force contract awarded to AT&T, with Larry Hales Consultancy's help, and three contracts totaling $153,000,000 for Alan Fuentess, owner of Computer Dynamics, a Virgina-based firm. The company has also helped small businesses with limited resources, like Webb Janitorial Services, grow their revenues to more than $12,000,000 in two years. Other satisfied clients include GE, IBM, General Motors, Harris, Motorola, Raytheon, Kodak, and more.
