New Erotic Book Publisher Has Mojo
Getting back on the horse that threw her is comfortable for Stefani V. Kelsey. In fact, she looks forward to it as Mojocastle Press opens for submissions.
Ms. Kelsey, the former Executive Editor-in-Chief of eXtasy Books, was an integral part in the growth and expansion of the company.
After many offers, she chose to accept the dual roles of Chief Operations Officer and Editor-in-Chief of Mojocastle Press, an erotic romance/erotica site with plans to move into mainstream titles in the future.
“I feel it’s an opportunity to utilize my skills to the utmost,” says Ms. Kelsey, who resides in Manassas, Virginia. “I bring years of experience to the table, as well as the loyalty of many talented people that I appreciate more than I can say.”
The other two partners provide much to the company as well.
Chief Executive Officer Carrie Anne King has been a novel junkie since age twelve upon finding her mother’s copy of Clan of the Cave Bear. Her career has since included sales, marketing/PR and management. The last ten years, she has been involved in the publishing world, focusing on management and PR. Some of her clients include the University of Utah, Self Expression Music and the USDA, including Sprint/Nextel as a gov/corp consultant as well as owning her own location.
She has wanted her own publishing house for as long as she can remember. Her main reason for opening Mojocastle Press is to further writers’ abilities and careers. “As well as read some fun, hot stuff!” she says.
Chief Financial Officer Marjorie Jones is a talented author and businesswoman living in central Utah. She is a writer, wife and mother, having raised three children, a husband, two quarter-horses, three dogs, and too many cats to mention. A former management-level executive in the restaurant industry, she looks forward to broadening literary menus for her customers.

Mojocastle Press plans to maintain a degree of quality established in their past endeavors and surpass it, as well as maintaining excellent author relations. A favorite quote of Carrie’s expresses their outlook quite well:
