Insurance Agents Alliance Selects InformINS as Insurance Broker Web Site Provider
The Alliance of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers (www.agentsalliance.com) announced that it has selected InformINS as its exclusive provider of insurance broker web sites for members. InformINS, Inc. is a privately held provider of insurance industry software products and technology consulting services.
InformINS is also providing Alliance members domain registration, (up to 10 emails), secure financial transactions, instant rating integration with rating vendors, a proprietary rating system, and Real Time Direct-to-Carrier ACORD XML rate exchange, an advanced feature that is typically not available through industry standard insurance web site products. One-time set up fees are reduced for Alliance members from $300 to $200, and monthly maintenance costs are also offered at a 33% discount for Alliance members.
"Our web site division has experienced robust growth since its launch one year ago," states Paul Blomgren, InformINS’ President and Chairman.
"We have invested years of development and testing to launch our Websites4Insurance (www.websites4insurance.com), and being selected by the Agents Alliance as their exclusive vendor is a great opportunity to take our retail products nation-wide on a grand scale," explains InformINS, Vice Chairman, Yuri Vanetik.
According to Ken Nigohosian, Executive Director of the Alliance of Insurance Agents and Brokers, "the agreement between the Alliance and InformINS provides a cost effective way for every independent insurance broker or agent to compete using technologies that used to be affordable only for large agencies and insurance carriers." According to Blomgren, InformINS’ agents web site systems are extremely easy to use, and "enable members to do business any time and anywhere, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week." Nigohosian indicates that the Alliance plans to roll out the web site program at its Conference and Expo, September 27 through October 1, 2006, held at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort in Palm Springs, California.
The Alliance web site products are exclusively branded to promote the Agents Alliance / InformINS Agency Website Service. All sales and customer support are handled by InformINS. InformINS provides the independent insurance broker with an additional 6 web site designs, which are exclusive to members through the Websites4AllianceAgents.com site. "Our programmers and designers are working closely with the Alliance in creating these designs," states Blomgren.
