So you're thinking of joining Emerald Passport, huh? You've no doubt heard the glowing reports-you can earn $30-40,000 a month only working a couple hours a day. Sound like what you've heard?

Honestly, for a small percentage that's true. If you're a great salesperson, and you're willing to spend your whole day on the phone. I am a former distributor for EPI. I've been through the fire. Brace yourself- because here's the rundown of what its' really like inside the ropes at Emerald Passport.

To be blunt, I never made a dime with Emerald Passport-despite spending countless hours advertising and calling prospects. I thought my experience was isolated-that nobody else was having the same frustrations. However after asking around, I've realized that about 98% of the distributors are in the same boat.

I started off full of enthusiasm. I got my site up and started advertising. Even though I was spending a ton, I was getting a lot of leads. Pretty good stuff. I spent every day from 1-3 and 7-9 calling lead after lead. I attended 1-2 hours of conference calls a day. I listened to the incredible reports from the high ups in the biz. It all sounded so easy-I was told there was no telling, selling or prospecting. I soon realized this was, to be polite, complete bosh.

Here's the way its' SUPPOSED to work. You call up a prospect, invite them to a company conference call, and follow up with them after. That's supposedly where the sale is made. This is how the system IS DESIGNED TO WORK.

Now here's reality. Here's what a typical day was like for me. I would start advertising in the morning on Google. I would go on a conference call from noon to 1, where I heard the usual glowing reports about how easy it was to make a fortune. I would get all fired up and ready to rock. Then I would start calling the prospects. I would generally call 20-30 before I got 1 or 2 who would committ to being on a conference call. I would arrange to follow up with them after the company call.

After the hour long conference, sure enough I would follow up with them as arranged. 95% of the time, there was no answer. I would rearrange my day around to follow up with these prospects, change my plans, cancel commitments, and then get no answer. The same thing would happen for the evening call. I routinely stayed up waiting for the night conference call to end, usually around 10:30 or later. I'd immediately follow up with my prospects. Again, now answer. I often stayed awake hours at night fuming with frustration.

Every day on the company calls, I heard how others were making absolute killings. I really felt like an idiot! What the heck was I doing wrong? Nothing, as it turned out. I soon found out the truth-but I found out the hard way.

I realized there were hundreds if not thousands like me who weren't making any money at all. Basically, if you aren't great on the phone, you will not see results there. If you are great, then you will-that's what it comes down to. But make no mistake about it-there sure as heck is telling and selling-and a lot of it!

About a month ago I finally saw the light. After doing a lot of research, I realized the error of my ways. In order to make money online, you should not have to spend your whole day on the phone. A good online business is set up so that you don't have to call A SOUL.

After just a few weeks with EPI, I started viewing the phone with dread. Whenever a new prospect appeared in my back office, instead of excitement I just anticipated hearing the next rejection. Not fun. I hated getting up in the morning. I was already anticipating the rejection before I even started. Where was all this time freedom and money I was promised?

You see, the top internet marketers NEVER CALL ANYBODY. That's right! Yanik Silver, Dan Kennedy, Joel Christopher, and others, never talk to a soul, and you shouldn't have to either. The money isn't made by spending your whole day on the phone. The money is the email lists and search engine optimization (SEO). Oops! I just let the cat out of the bag! Oh well, whatever you do, do your research and think seriously before joining Emerald Passport. Yes, you can make a lot of money-if you're a great salesperson and willing to spend your whole day on the phone!
