Logic Information Systems Promotes Retail Integration Expert Amber Naqvi To Vice President

Former IBM retail technology expert Amber Naqvi has recently been promoted to spearhead Logic's retail technology consulting and integration business.

Both of my previous employers are great consulting firms. During my six years at IBM, and three years at Accenture prior to that, I had a chance to work with and learn from world-class consultants
"Amber Naqvi brings the kind of tier-one and mid-market expertise our customers need as we implement Oracle Retail and other solutions, at companies who have not had those technologies available to them before," remarked Logic's Managing Partner, Bill Szlaius.

Szlaius added: Mid-market retailers must step up to a new level of technology design and integration in order to compete with their larger counterparts, but they often lack the resources to develop those systems internally.

"After years of experience implementing Oracle Retail (Retek) solutions with clients like Circuit City and Aldo, Amber Naqvi understands the complexity of retail systems design and implementation, as well as what functions could be 'packaged' for mid-market retailers to give them the power of the technology, while maintaining a workable budget," Szlaius said.

Naqvi's industry experience plays a central role in Logic's retail technology plans.

"Both of my previous employers are great consulting firms. During my six years at IBM, and three years at Accenture prior to that, I had a chance to work with and learn from world-class consultants," Naqvi said. "Working side by side with thought leaders in the industry, I learned how to leverage technology as an enabler for growth and profitability."

Naqvi and Szlaius have set the bar high.

"Our goal is to build Logic into the number one business consultant and systems integrator for mid-market retail organizations," Naqvi said.
