Workplace Wellness Works™ has launched a web site (www.workplacewellnessworks.com) that features top thought leaders in corporate wellness who outline proven initiatives that significantly reduce healthcare costs and increase productivity in the workplace.
Workplace Wellness Works™ is a division of VendStream Corp., a company founded in 2002 by Peggy Tate, who is a CPA and former Chief Financial Officer Consultant. VendStream designs and manages healthy vending installations for companies concerned about the health and productivity of their employees. The company works nationally.
The company offers CDs and downloadable recordings entitled "Thought Leaders in Workplace Wellness," which are interviews with leaders in workplace wellness like John Miall of the American Pharmacists Association Foundation who managed "The Asheville Project" and Judi Ryan, formerly with Cadmus Communications.
Peggy Tate, President and CEO said, "In trying to understand more about corporate wellness so my company, VendStream, could do a better job in healthy vending, I starting researching the topic on the Internet. What I found was very sketchy, which is surprising given the level of interest in the subject in the media. As a business person, I look at this as an opportunity, so I decided to learn all I can on the subject by interviewing thought leaders in corporate wellness and to offer recordings of these interviews over the web to human resource professionals and other business people interested in the subject."
Being a CPA and a former CFO consultant, Peggy Tate's orientation is to emphasize return on investment in featuring workplace wellness content. She said, "Since human resource professionals must ultimately justify their spending decisions to the Chief Financial Officer and/or to the CEO, this bottom-line orientation is critical for making a successful presentation."
The company officially launched the web site today and plans to continue offering leading edge content on impactful workplace wellness initiatives.
