Inaugural program will feature live interview with CNN’s Miles O’Brien and Eric Anderson of Space Adventures talking about “Building a New Company While Building a New Industry”
The International Association of Space Entrepreneurs (IASE) announces that Eric Anderson, Co-Founder and CEO of Space Adventures, and Miles O’Brien, CNN Anchor/Correspondent, will headline the organization’s Speaker Series event on March 11th at the Sheraton Premiere at Tysons Corner. This breakfast event officially commences IASE’s 2004 Speaker Series, a quarterly program of educational and networking functions.
“We’re deeply honored to have two professionals as highly regarded as Eric and Miles join us for our first event of the 2004 Speaker Series,” said Guillermo Söhnlein, IASE’s Founder and Director. “Given the significant public interest and scrutiny focused on space initiatives since the President’s recent NASA announcement, it is particularly timely to discuss how the lessons learned from Eric’s experiences in the space tourism industry can benefit other entrepreneurs working in innovative non-space industries, such as bioinformatics and nanotechnology.”
