DoggieDay Pet Service Continues Nationwide Expansion

DoggieDay Pet Service, the only nationwide pet care organization, has begun operations in San Diego, Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Seattle.

DoggieDay Pet Service. (www.doggieday.com), a leader in the pet care industry, today announced the establishment of branches in San Diego, Chicago, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Seattle and Philadelphia. The professional staff of pet care providers will fulfill the needs of dog, cat, and other small animal owners in the respective areas.

“We see a significant demand accross the country for high-quality services that are dependable, consistent, and attentive. We are excited to provide these pet owners with the reliable services of our pet care organization,” said Lou Whitney, CEO of DoggieDay. "Since we never contract out our services, we can control the quality of the service and stand behind every single employee, an important distinction between us and other so-called professional operations."

DoggieDay Pet Services rely on technology and a solid business model to balance the individual needs of many clients. A database of pet profiles ensures that each pet’s individual food, activity, and special considerations are accommodated. The pet’s veterinary, vaccination, and emergency contact information are also stored in the robust database.

“At DoggieDay, we’ve formulated a system that enables us to service hundreds of clients with personal precision. The database stores and supplies the information, and our pet care providers are a terrific blend of professionalism and the love of animals. Clients can directly access and update their pet’s information online. It really is a win-win situation,” commented Rob Galeski, president and Boston operations manager.

DoggieDay’s emphasis on professional pet care is a cornerstone of its success. Each pet care provider is fully trained, has passed a background check, and wears a uniform with a two-way radio to ensure connectivity with the central headquarters. Clients are able to schedule appointments, update their pet’s profiles, and make payments online at www.doggieday.com.

“DoggieDay strives to make our services convenient for our clients. Appointments and account updates can be made online, or if the client prefers, he or she can call us 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” remarked Whitney.

The San Diego branch will initially focus on the North County coastal areas of Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Carmel Valley, La Jolla, and University City. DoggieDay’s services will encompass all of San Diego County by the end of 2004.

The Chicago branch will primarily service the neighborhoods of Lincoln Park, Old Town, and Gold Coast. DoggieDay of Chicago will continually expand to additional neighborhoods to ensure “no dog or cat is left behind.”
