FASTFRAME Named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Fastest-Growing Franchises for 2004

Nation’s Largest Dedicated Custom Framing Franchise Also Among Top 100 Franchises

FASTFRAME recently was named to Entrepreneur magazine’s list of 101 fastest-growing franchises for 2004. The largest dedicated custom framing franchise organization in the United States, FASTFRAME added nearly 50 new stores over the past year. FASTFRAME is the only art and framing franchise to make the magazine’s listing.

FASTFRAME also was named to Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500® for the fourth consecutive year. FASTFRAME ranked among the nation’s top 100 franchises in numerous industries. FASTFRAME also is number one in the art and framing category, according to the magazine.

With nearly 300 franchise locations in the United States, FASTFRAME has almost doubled its store locations within the past five years.
“While we’re growing at a steady pace, we are extremely mindful of maintaining the reliability and quality of our franchise program,” said Brian Harper, president and CEO of FASTFRAME. “We provide solid training, ongoing support and education to help ensure each of our shop owners are knowledgeable of emerging trends and are leaders in their market.”

FASTFRAME franchisees are people with the drive to succeed in their own business, seeking opportunity in the array of programs FASTFRAME has available. Initial start-up costs for a FASTFRAME franchise are $105,800 to $150,300, which includes a franchisee fee, site selection, store development, initial marketing, inventory, working capital and various other expenditures.

“Today’s tough job market is leading more people to seek career options where they are in control,” said.Harper. “FASTFRAME is particularly appealing because it’s an enjoyable, relaxing work environment and our organization provides the guidance, training and ongoing support to help our franchise owners be successful.”

Jeff Travelstead, FASTFRAME regional developer and a franchisee in New Jersey, is one of a growing number of people who have left corporate positions to open a franchise business.

“I realized that the time had come to get out of the corporate rat race. I promised myself that I would find a career that was interesting and less stressful,” said Travelstead, “I chose to apply my drive and expertise in a way that I could be my own boss. I knew franchising was the best option for me to learn the ropes and succeed in my own business. FASTFRAME provided the perfect opportunity for me. I still work hard, but I really like what I do and can see the results of my efforts.”
