INPEX is America's largest invention trade show and is held each spring in Pittsburgh, PA. It features new product ideas by individual inventors from around the world. This invention trade show also includes a series of seminars and panel discussions on issues pertinent to individual entrepreneurs and companies, including licensing, import/export, and manufacturing.
INPEX®, America’s Largest Invention Trade Show will host inventors from the United States and numerous countries, May 12-15, in Pittsburgh. Admission to INPEX® is free to qualified, pre-registered industry representatives. To pre-register, call (888) 54-INPEX, x4114 or visit the web site at www.inventionshow.com and follow the links.
A few of the products scheduled to be on display at this year’s show will be:
* Towel Down™ - a multifunctional beach blanket that quickly and easily converts into a backpack, tote or sleeping bag.
* Right-Height Picture Hanger - this wall mountable hook adjusts 3 to 4 inches, enabling users to quickly and easily hang pictures, mirrors or shelves at the right height.
* Supplemental Toilet Tank - a device that provides additional water for flushing low-flow volume toilets.
"New products can be found at INPEX®," said Jennifer Lawlor, Show Director. "It is ideal for companies looking for new ideas to license, manufacture or market. INPEX® brings innovators and industry together."
The Invention Show puts numerous new product concepts at a company’s fingertips and offers an economical way to do market product research. New product ideas come about when inventors can not find what they want, when they want it. In many cases they have taken the time and expense to do some initial product development.
"We find INPEX® to be an invaluable addition to our overall industry," said Jason Graves, Vice President of New Business Development for Hawthorne Direct, Inc., a direct response television advertising agency. "We see such an array of products… that have not yet been exposed [to the marketplace."
An international jury judges inventions awarding gold, silver and bronze medals, cash prizes, and corporate trophies. INPEX® 2004 sponsors include Dial Corporation, Iron Clad, KDKA-AM, and Skyline Display of Pittsburgh.
As part of the tradeshow, the Invention Show sponsors INPEX® Inventors University™, a series of seminars, presentations, and panel discussions. The keynote speaker for this year’s university will be Art Fry, inventor of Post-it® Notes. Other speakers will include Maria Velez de Berliner of Latin Trade Solutions, Inc. and Jonathon Scharf, of Access Asia, LLC, who will discuss how you can develop and implement business strategies involving Asia, and Latin and North America.
