ACCESS 2004 Your Portal to Business Opportunities

Dallas / Fort Worth get ready for the premier business opportunity expo of the year, ACCESS 2004! Hosted by the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Business Development Council (D/FW MBDC), celebrating 31 years of building business relationships, ACCESS 2004 is the result of major corporate business partners and certified minority business owners coming together to focus on business opportunities and working alliances.

2004 is proving to be a challenging year for all business, but goods and services still remain in great demand. The key question is; will your business be focused and ready when this year’s opportunities come? ACCESS 2004 is your answer! So mark your calendars today for this important two day event, set for June 14th & 15th at the Arlington Convention Center. The doors open at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 14, 2004 with seminars followed by the opening reception. You won’t want to miss a minute of what is shaping up to be one the most important business to business forums of the year.

ACCESS 2004 is specifically designed to bring minority business owners together with private, and public sector buyers to develop important contacts, relationships and ultimately to do business. These business partners have recognized the importance and value of including aggressive and motivated minority businesses in their purchasing needs.

“Make no mistake about it”, said Shannon Suber, Texas Instruments, Access 2004 chair, “ACCESS 2004 is a real opportunity to form significant business contacts and actually do business with many of the largest companies and government entities in North Texas.” Suber concluded, “It’s a win-win situation for both partners.”

Margo Posey, president of the Council, is quick to point out, “the D/FW MBDC is not only bringing minority businesses together with major corporate and government entities but has helped to build important, strategic alliances between our own members, the MBEs (minority business entrepreneurs) for some 30 years now.” Posey went on to say, “the purchasing needs of large corporate partners increasingly requires two or more MBEs to combine forces to satisfy bid requirements. Therefore it is critical for those relationships to be established early.” ACCESS 2004 is the perfect place to start!
