Softlink America Announces Corporate Relocation and Senior Management Changes

Softlink America, one of the world’s leading library automation software companies, announced today the relocation of its North American headquarters to Los Angeles, California from Denver, Colorado. Additionally, Soflink America announces the appointment of Robert Corrao as president of the North America business unit. This formal announcement comes on the heels of record setting revenue growth for the 20-year old international software company.

“In looking for ways to continue the momentum of Softlink America’s tremendous growth in 2003, we thought it a natural progression to relocate our North American operations to one of the world’s largest business markets,” said Robert Corrao, Softlink America’s president. “As we look for ways to build our business here in the United States, Los Angeles appeared to be the best fit for our organization with its access to top-notch technological expertise as we continue to add support staff in the years ahead.”

Softlink America made the decision to move the US headquarters to Los Angeles after a thorough review of its domestic business operations and expected market share growth. Founded in Australia in 1983, Softlink launched its US operations in 1993 and has implemented over 10,000 library automation solutions for clients in over 100 countries worldwide.

Leading the new US operation in the role of president of SoftLink America is software industry veteran Robert Corrao. With over 13-years of experience in the software industry, Robert is poised to lead Softlink America’s growth both in revenue and personnel. Robert was promoted from vice president of sales for the company which he joined after successful management stints with Productivity Point International and ASP-One.

“I am looking forward to guiding the continued success of Softlink America here in the US,” said Robert Corrao, Softlink America’s president. “With our outstanding product line, superior customer service and exemplirary growth during the last fiscal year, I could not be more excited to be leading such a fine organization.”
