360-Degree Leadership Navigator(sm) Goes International
Data Driven Decisions, Inc. (3D Group) and Anwandter Consultores are partnering to deliver 360-degree feedback to corporate leaders in Chile.
3D Group, a Berkeley-based leadership assessment and development firm, specializes in 360-degree assessment surveys that gather feedback from leaders, supervisors, peers, and subordinates for full-circle analysis. This type of leadership development tool, well-known in the United States for effective input, is now creating interest in Latin America. To meet this demand, 3D Group has adapted two of their products for use in South America.
Anwandter Consultores, based in Santiago, is 3D Group’s first Latin American partner. This established firm, specializing in human resources consulting, operational excellence, training, and coaching in the retail industry, intends to become a leader in providing 360-degree feedback to clients in Chile. Given their focus on innovation and their national scope, they are an excellent partner to help bring 3D Group’s scientifically backed human resources appraisal systems to this new market.

According to Cristián Duarte, Executive Director of Anwandter Consultores, the timing of the partnership is especially advantageous given the recent signing of a Free Trade Agreement between Chile and the United States. “The 360-degree Leadership NavigatorSM is an excellent tool for developing leaders within organizations, which is especially necessary now that there will be an increased exchange between the two countries.”
Initially, the partnership will roll out two of 3D Group’s 360-Degree Leadership NavigatorSM (http://www.3dgroup.net/what_nav.html) surveys to Chilean clients: Retail Manager and Corporate Leader. The Retail Manager 360-degree feedback survey provides in-depth performance feedback for retail leaders on the most challenging aspects of their positions, such as real-time customer service, diverse employee populations and needs, and merchandising. The 360-degree feedback survey for Corporate Leaders assesses a wide variety of work behaviors and competencies for supervisors, managers, directors, or anyone who has direct reports.
The first 360-degree feedback implementation will take place for several dozen managers during the month of April, 2004 at Casa & Ideas, a leading national retailer with ten years of experience in the national market and 20 stores throughout Chile.
