Mother's Day is 20th Anniversary of Mothers' Home Business Network

Twenty years ago, mothers didn't have many work/family options. They either chose to stay at home with their children or go to work and leave them for eight hours-a-day. The Mommy Wars began as each group defended their choice. It was in this time and place that one mom decided there was a third option: Working at home. Georganne Fiumara started Mothers' Home Business Network so that other moms could learn more and the revolution began. Her work continues today on HomeWorkingMom.com.

"It is hard to believe that in 1984 most moms had not even considered the work-at-home option," says Fiumara. "Today, the Internet has increased the opportunities and working at home is a viable option that millions of mothers use."

To celebrate their 20-year anniversary on Mother's Day, Mothers' Home Businss Network is giving away a free e-book titled, "Work-At-Home Job Finder For Moms." It can be downloaded or read online at their Web site, HomeWorkingMom.com, without charge throughout the year.

"It is important that moms be informed about potential scams and misleading opportunities," Fiumara explains. "We created this free guide that contains on-target information and pre-approved resources."
