Atlas Display in Florida hires award-winning designers Pedro Ortiz and Alexie Santiago

Atlas Display, a Florida-based designer and manufacturer of point-of-sale and point-of-purchase displays, has recruited Pedro Ortiz and Alexie Santiago, both award-winning designers, to complete the company’s design team.
“Our design capabilities were already strong,” commented President Chip Meissner, “With Pedro and Alexie joining Atlas, we now have one of the best teams in the nation.”

Pedro Ortiz, who was winning awards for his design capabilities while still in school, brings 19 years of design experience to the Atlas Display team. He has worked with some of the best companies in the world helping them create high impact displays. When asked how he hopes to help Atlas, Ortiz explains, “The experience I’ve gained over the years designing for demanding companies such as Procter and Gamble has taught me a lot. I’m looking forward to bringing that knowledge to Atlas’s customers”.

Alexie Santiago joins Atlas Display as Design Manager. Having started his career on the production end of displays, Santiago understands what is necessary to take a project from creation through production and delivery. According to Santiago, “A well designed display not only looks great, it needs to be cost effective, arrive on time, be easy to set up, and withstand the retail environment. It’s my job to make sure this is what the customer receives”.

On why they joined the Atlas Display team, Santiago responded, “Atlas listens to its customers. These guys will try just about anything if it means it will make their customers happy. That makes for a fun environment for a designer to work in.” Ortiz added, “I agree. Its nice to know you’re working for a company that makes every effort to satisfy its customers”.

Together, Santiago and Ortiz will help Atlas manage projects from the design lab through production, assembly, and fulfillment.
