Buyer’s Broker Develops Full Service Real Estate Program for Relocating Families

Bethesda, MD September 27, 2004 -- Industry experts are often amazed that more transferring families do not use the services of a buyer’s broker. After all, with severe limits on a transferee’s time, changes confining relocation benefits programs and a pressing need for immediate area data to base key decisions on, it would seem that a buyer’s broker and corporate or military transferee would be a natural fit.

In fact, industry studies show that those transferees that use a buyer’s broker benefit mightily. A study by Sprint found that 232 relocating Sprint employees using buyer's brokers paid an average of 91% of a home's list price versus buyers using traditional agents typically paying about 96%. On a house with final list price of $350,000, that could amount to a difference of $17,500.

So what’s the glitch? That’s what Bethesda, Maryland real estate broker Dave Kolakowski asked himself. After thirteen years as an exclusive Buyer’s Broker and founding member of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer’s Agents, he studied the market to discover the missing element: SERVICE.

With this in mind, he created what is thought to be an industry first – a Full-Service Buyer’s Brokerage operation that offers top-notch and objective real estate advocacy to home buyers, a Personal Relocation Concierge and a state-of-the-art web site to connect all the dots.

Found at
www.bethesdabuyers.com, buyers interested in the Maryland, Virginia and Northwest DC markets can view listings for sale, access a treasure trove of local information and resources on schools, neighborhoods and more.

If that’s not enough, he’s incorporated a free Personal Relocation ConciergeÔ to help before, during and after the move has taken place. Says Kolakowski “it’s about time that transferring families can work with a real estate expert whose interests are aligned so tightly with a buyer’s, we can see the results almost immediately!” For more, go to
