Supermodels Find New Home at Sporting Woman Quarterly

Atlanta, GA  December 6, 2004 - Sporting Woman Quarterly ("SW") is taking up the torch to bring back the days when fashion ruled and magazines were essential reading materials for anyone who wanted to be involved in our cultural society. Certainly one will find socialites, debutantes, star athletes and Hollywood celebrities appearing in Sporting Woman Quarterly, but the crown of the fashion icon is returning to the pretty heads of the girls who learned the industry from the ground up in preparation for SW's new media helm.

Sporting Woman Quarterly, with a Spring newsstand circulation of 700,000 copies, will be welcoming sporting fashionistas back into the truly glamorous fashion world. Supermodels can now look forward to more face time and better positioning in SW magazine. Rosters like IMG tend to be well-rounded enough to include athletic-builds, which can be very appealing to a women's sports magazine. That's not to say that more diminutive models won't be considered. Indeed, there are many sporting women with a somewhat dainty appearance in their white tennis dresses who will equally enjoy perusing SW's seasonal fashion features and covers. SW will put bank on featuring stunning, vibrant, athletic models that they feel reflect today's modern sporting woman. From Tyra Banks and her America's Next Top Model cast to Donald Trump's beauties, Ralph Lauren's runway beloveds, Ford, Next and the IMG roster, Sporting Woman Quarterly will give the fashion industry a renewed opportunity to bring modeling back into the folds of a limelight not seen around since the booming 1980's scene.

Sporting Woman Quarterly will be hosting a very chic gala event over New Year’s eve weekend in conjunction with the United States Women’s Polo Federation’s 2004 Championship Play-Offs. Reserving a luxury corporate village tent onsite at the Palm Beach Polo Club event, SW is partnering with Worth Avenue locations, Palm Beach debutantes, and area society figures to develop a unique sports industry fashion spread which they will promote in their tent at the 3-Day Red Carpet Sporting Event in Wellington and Palm Beach, FL over New Year's eve weekend. Entry into the SW Quarterly corporate village tent is permitted with $75 VIP Play-Off Tickets available online at
www.uswpf.com or www.ticketweb.com.

As an innovative sports lifestyle magazine that will be cross-promoting women’s sports (LPGA, tennis, polo) on a multi-platform basis, Sporting Woman Quarterly is determined to show others how pack a real punch when it comes to marketing with the debut of their Spring Issue. SW's Editor-in-Chief is the Creator and a Producer for the new reality show "The Debutante" coming to networks in the Spring. "The Debutante" finalists will be presented in a society sporting-theme spread inside, but sporting gals can rest assured that a Supermodel will be gracing the cover of their Spring Issue. Home, sweet home, once again for the Supermodel.
