The APH Group Strengthens Management Team with Consumer Products Veteran
Savannah, GA January 7, 2005 -- The APH Group, a company specializing in sales outsourcing and logistics services, today announced the appointment of Max Wagerman as National Sales Manager – Consumer Products Division.
"The APH Group had previously concentrated on business-to-business industrial and commercial products. By capitalizing on opportunities in consumer products, we expect to continue to increase our revenue growth in 2005," said Tony Higgins, president of The APH Group. "Max will help us develop salesforces that sell consumer products to wholesale, retail and mass merchandiser channels. This addition to our management team will enhance our capabilities as a sales outsourcing company.”
Max Wagerman joins The APH Group to broaden our capabilities in the consumer sector. Max has been managing and training salesforces of independent manufacturers’ reps since 1987. He has extensive experience selling consumer and automotive products to retailers and mass merchandisers such as Frontgate, Smith and Hawken, Lowes and Home Depot.
Mr. Wagerman as President of Consumer Products, Incorporated, implemented strategic initiatives to proactively manage a multi-level sales channel of independent sales reps, distributors and an e-Commerce system and developed a mutually beneficial relationship with a China-based sourcing company to substantially increase the company’s revenues and acquire key clients. Prior to this assignment, Mr. Wagerman was a Co-Founder of Sparkhorse, a startup company providing auto parts over the Internet.
