New Organization Seeks to be Voice for Millions of Florida Residents.

Boca Raton, FL  March 16, 2005 -- A new state-wide organization that will band condominium and homeowner associations together to address issues and provide substantive benefits was announced today. The Florida Community Association Coalition (FCAC) will be the first state wide organization that will band condominium and homeowner associations together in the State of Florida.

“The goal of the FCAC is to be a voice for millions of Floridians who have no representation in the state legislature as well as provide benefits that are not being offered by any other organization,” said Mark Bogen, its Executive Director.

The initial benefits offered by the FCAC protects consumers from identity theft; investigates criminal conduct at associations; provides free legal advice; discounts on insurance and cable T.V. and recommends contractors and vendors with a unique twist.

"Condominium and homeowner associations have been consistently ripped-off by unscrupulous contractors and vendors. Our program will make sure companies are licensed, insured or bonded. We also guarantee that if a member uses any recommended vendor or contractor and is scammed, our organization will provide free legal representation to that member. No other organization offers these guarantees." said Bogen. While some of the FCAC benefits are free to its members other benefits are offered at a discount.

Support for the FCAC is evidenced by its impressive Honorary Advisory Committee. Such members include former Florida Attorney General Bob Butterworth; Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer; Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and the presidents of many local or county organizations from throughout the State of Florida. The FCAC will also seek to develop a grass roots organization at condominium and homeowner associations throughout the state.

The FCAC, which is based in Boca Raton, Florida, is free to join by going to its web site at
