SurfNet Media Group To File Notification Of Late Filing On SEC Form 12b-25
Phoenix, AZ June 6, 2005 - SurfNet Media Group, Inc. (OTCBB: SFNM) announced that it will be filing today a Notification of Late Filing on Form 12b-25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to its Annual Report on Form 10-KSB for the fiscal year ended February 28, 2005. SurfNet states in the report that its auditor did not begin audit field work until June 1, 2005, two days after the date upon which SurfNet’s Annual Report on Form 10-KSB was due with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
SurfNet expects that the auditor will complete the audit in a timely fashion and SurfNet will file its Annual Report with the SEC prior to June 30, 2005. When SurfNet files its Annual Report, the NASD will remove the “e” from SurfNet’s symbol. The presence of an “e” does not constitute a trading halt or delisting, although some brokerage firms have policies that prevent trading until an “e” is removed.
