Brazilian Insurance Conglomerate adopts IntraLearn Learning Management System for new University
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil June 10, 2005 -- IntraLearn Latin America Ltda. (ILLA), the South American subsidiary of the leading supplier of turnkey e-Learning software applications, IntraLearn Software Corporation, announced today in conjunction with its Brazilian partner, QuickMind Knowledge Management, that it has reached agreement with SulAmérica to license the IntraLearn SME to deliver e-Learning courses from their corporate university - UNIVERSAS.
“It was important to us that UNIVERSAS was able to manage and deliver courses from a centralized learning management system that was scalable and secure.” said Carmen Pereira, SulAmérica’s Training and Development Superintendent.
SulAmérica is one of the largest insurance conglomerates in Latin America serving more than 6 million clients from over 14 branches, 70 working offices and 31 Decentralized Attendance Units throughout Brazil. With the rapid introduction of new products and programs, an online university capable of delivering e-Learning to their employees and brokers is critical.
Initially, 10 online courses are been offered to approximately 5,900 employees. SulAmérica has plans to develop new courses and expand the offer to more than 26,000 insurance brokers during this year. The feature-rich IntraLearn SME allowed them to rapidly deliver interactive and measurable courses throughout the country.
